How to make Kaju Gulkand Modak

Ingredients of Kaju Gulkand Modak
- 1 kg Cashew Nuts
- 800 gms Sugar
- 250 gms Pista Flakes
- 400 gms Gulkand
- 50 gms Dehydrated Rose Petals
- Gold Varak (for garnishing)
How to Make Kaju Gulkand Modak

Soak 1kg cashew nut for 1 hour. Remove water and make a paste of it.

Put this paste in a pan, add sugar and let it settle for 15 mins. Then switch on the gas and keep stirring it on slow flame for 45 min. And your dough will be ready.

For stuffing:
Add gulkand to pista flakes and make small balls. Stuff these balls in the cashew nut dough that you prepared.

Add rose petals to the modak mould and then add the stuffed balls, so that rose petals sticks to the modak. For garnishing, add gold varak on it. Rose petal gulkand modak is ready to serve!
