This vegetarian recipe ‘Mughlai Aloo’’ is all you need to make for your dinner after a long tiring day. This dish features a rich and traditional blend of aromatic spices and potatoes dipped in a luscious gravy.
Ingredients of Mughlai Aloo
10-12 Baby Potatoes
2 small Onion
3/4 cup Curd
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tbsp Fresh cream
1/2 tsp Sugar
3 tbsp Ghee
to taste Salt
2-3 tsp Poppy Seeds
1/2 tsp Ginger paste
2 Slit Green chilllies
How to Make Mughlai Aloo
1.Peel baby potatoes and wash them properly. Then soak them into cold water.
2.After 10 minutes, drain the potatoes and pierce them all over with the help of a fork. Add curd in the potatoes and salt. Set side for sometime
3.Heat ghee in a pan and fry the onions until transculent.
4.Add the ground paste and fry for a minute.
5.Add all spices including cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, salt and stir for two minutes.
6.Add potato mixture and water according to the consistency you want.
7.Add cream and garnish with coriander leaves and roasted cashews and enjoy!
