This vegetarian recipe ‘Mughlai Aloo’’ is all you need to make for your dinner after a long tiring day. This dish features a rich and traditional blend of aromatic spices and potatoes dipped in a luscious gravy.

Ingredients of Mughlai Aloo

  • 10-12 Baby Potatoes
  • 2 small Onion
  • 3/4 cup Curd
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh cream
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Ghee
  • to taste Salt
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 2-3 tsp Poppy Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 2 Cardamom
  • 2 Slit Green chilllies

How to Make Mughlai Aloo

  • 1.Peel baby potatoes and wash them properly. Then soak them into cold water.
  • 2.After 10 minutes, drain the potatoes and pierce them all over with the help of a fork. Add curd in the potatoes and salt. Set side for sometime
  • 3.Heat ghee in a pan and fry the onions until transculent.
  • 4.Add the ground paste and fry for a minute.
  • 5.Add all spices including cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, salt and stir for two minutes.
  • 6.Add potato mixture and water according to the consistency you want.
  • 7.Add cream and garnish with coriander leaves and roasted cashews and enjoy!
