Chicken marinated in whole peppercorns and other spices, grilled or baked perfect, served with a dash of lemon.
Ingredients of Murgh Kali Mirch
Oven Temp: 450 F-220 C
4 chicken, drumsticks
1/4 cup (50 gm) dahi (yogurt)
1 Tbsp maida (refined flour)
1/4 tsp ginger paste
1/4 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp or to taste salt
4 Tbsp green peppercorns (crushed) mixed with 1 Tbsp vinegar OR 2 Tbsp sabut kali mirch (black peppercorns), crushed
Oil to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Hara dhania (coriander leaves)
Lemon wedges to garnish
How to Make Murgh Kali Mirch
1.Pierce the chicken and marinate in the dahi, maida, ginger, garlic, salt, and peppercorns for 4-5 hours.
2.About 20 minutes before serving, bake the chicken pieces over a drip tray, in a pre-heated oven, or grill in a barbeque, basting once half way through, for 15-20 minutes or untill tender.
3.Serve garnished with the hara dhania and lemon juice.
