Ingredients of Saag Badi Nariya
- For the badi:
- Kali urad ki daal
- Mustard oil to fry
- Main dish:
- 3 tsp mustard oil
- 5 whole red chillies
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp garlic-chopped
- 100 gm cholai saag
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp green chillies-chopped
- 3 tsp crushed badi
- 3 tsp coconut-grated
- Onions-chopped

For the badi

Soak the daal and then grind to a paste.

Make small dumplings and keep them in the sun to dry.

Fry these balls and then break them up into small pieces.

The badis are ready.
For the main dish:
1.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the red chillies, mustard seeds, garlic and mix well.

Then add the saag, salt, green chillies, broken badis and the grated coconut.
3.
Cook on low flame till it is cooked through.
4.
Serve hot with rice or chapatis.
