Create pizza from scratch, make the dough, spread the toppings and bake!

Ingredients of Scone Pizza

  • 225 Gram Flour
  • 2 TSP Baking powder
  • 1/2 TSP Bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 TSP Mustard powder
  • 50 GRAM Butter
  • 50 GRAM Cheese, grated
  • 50 Ml Milk
  • 50 Ml Curd
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 TBSP Onions, chopped
  • To taste Salt and pepper
  • For the topping:
  • Assorted vegetables
  • 2 TSP Oil
  • 100 GRAM Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 TSP Oregano

How to Make Scone Pizza

  • 1.Combine flour, baking powder, soda and mustard.
  • 2.Rub in the butter to form crumbs.
  • 3.Stir in the cheese, onions, curd, egg and milk.
  • 4.Mix well to make a smooth dough.
  • 5.Pat out the dough into an 8-9" roundel. Brush with oil.
  • 6.Arrange the assorted vegetables and cheese on top of the roundel.
  • 7.Drizzle a little oil and sprinkle chopped herbs.
  • 8.Bake at 220 degree C for 15 minutes until the base is golden in color and the cheese has melted.
  • 9.Cut into wedges and serve hot.
