Bananas: They are an excellent source of potassium and magnesium which are said to relax the muscles, making you feel sleepy at the same time. The vitamin B6 found in bananas eventually convert tryptophan into serotonin.
Cherries: This fruit is rich in melatonin which balances the body’s sleeping cycle. Consumption of extra amount of melatonin will give your body the signal to sleep. It’s always a good idea to consume cherries after dinner rather than having them in the day time.
So if you wish to avoid drowsiness between those office meetings and important tasks, then make sure that you’re eating the above mentioned foods only around dinner time.
