Chicken 65 is a hot favourite amongst non-veg lovers. The spicy and delicious chicken snack that originated in south India has today become a popular choice all over the country. This tantalising party snack has also found its way into almost all gatherings and family dinners. An easy recipe, quick preparation time, and explosive flavours of the dish are what continue to make it a sought-after recipe whenever you are in the mood for chicken snacks. In an Instagram video uploaded by content creator Raunak Ramteke, we come across the interesting fact that led to the dish being named after the number 65. We have all had our own assumptions about the reason the dish is named so. Some assume it has to do with the number of spices used in the dish while others say the dish has to be marinated for 65 hours along with other assumptions galore that are surrounding the dish. However, we recently came to know that the number '65' has nothing to do with the spices or marinating, rather it signifies the year the dish was made for the first time. Raunak even shares that the classic restaurant that started the dish has since then introduced many other dishes like chicken 78, 82, and 90 which were first made in the respective years. The comments left on the video spoke about how it was shocking and informative at the same time. Some of the relatable comments were "I've always wanted to know this but never felt like googling.
