It is said that 100 grams of fresh amla contains the same amount of Vitamin C as 20 oranges.

Here's what you need to do, since amla is not particularly palatable for many (owing to its bitter taste), it is a good idea to combine it with something as sweet as honey.

  • Mix one part of honey with one part of amla juice, and have it every morning. In other words, if you are taking 1 tbsp of amla juice, add 1 tbsp of honey to it too. The concoction will detoxify your system, and will also enrich your body with vital nutrients.
