Celebrity Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar recently took to her official Instagram handle to share three major diet and health tips that one must follow this summer season. Sounds perfect? Summer Care: 3 Simple Diet And Health Tips To Beat The Heat:
Tip 1. Bathe In Neem Water:
In her post, Rujuta Diwekar suggests soaking neem leaves in bathing water. She mentions that doing this will help prevent your skin and hair from blackheads and dandruff.
Tip 2. Swear By Buttermilk:
She suggests adding curd and buttermilk to your daily diet, especially during lunch, to prevent an "afternoon slump:" and keep the "sweet tooth under check”.
Tip 3. Add Khus To Drinking Water:
The celebrity nutritionist explains that the roots (vetiver) of khus help avoid bad breath. In addition, it also keeps the stomach cool. So, she suggests adding it to your bottle of drinking water every day.

Earlier, Rujuta Diwekar suggested three foods to relish during the summer season to beat the heat. In an Instagram post, the nutritionist highlighted three local, seasonal, and traditional foods that you use to lower your body's temperature, without having to turn on the air conditioner all the time.
In the clip, Rujuta Diwekar recommended having a local fruit mid-morning. Next, she suggested including curd/rice in lunch, and drinking water mixed with gulkand before bed.
In the caption, Rujuta Diwekar also listed down the issues that are prevented by these food items. Sharing the video, she wrote, “3 things to beat the heat - A hyper-local fruit mid-morning, Dahi-rice for lunch (with pickle or papad), Gulkand pani at bedtime. Prevents – acidity, bloating, headache, fatigue, indigestion.”
