The concept of online food delivery came forth as a revolution, promising us much comfort. However, it also turned out to be fraught with slip-ups and fails, which can sometimes make ordering in more troublesome. Order delays, wrong orders and cancellations are quite common. One customer in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, had a rather unpleasant experience recently. In a strange situation, her order was cancelled by the delivery company, not due to their fault but because of some offenders, who snatched her order from the delivery boy! Ever heard of something like this happening before?! We are sure not.
The customer named Chayanika Das placed a food order on food delivery portal Swiggy, but received this bizarre message from their executive: "I'm sorry that we couldn't deliver your order as the order was snatched by some others. I understand that this might be upsetting. I'll go ahead and cancel this order for you. Request you to place a fresh order from any other restaurant."
Chayanika Das took a screenshot of the message and posted on her Twitter handle with caption: "Snatched by others. Yeh Noida mei yeh sab hota hai?"
Here's the Twitter post:
The Twitter post soon turned into a long viral thread with thousands of comments pouring in. Replying to one of the comments, Chayanika Das revealed, :Yeah... Got a call from swiggy, and they said ki "madam aapke rider se deliver wagerah chhin liya gaya tha...bohot maara usko..."
The viral post attracted some hilarious reactions from other users. Some had a wise suggestion: "Next time order fast food. At least there will be some chase."

Maybe swiggy should have "add Prevent Snatching" extra order option (like add Rs. 50 for Save the children fund) and keep extra roti packets for snatchers.

Some users put their creativity to best use and came with their own conspiracy theories: "It may be depend on location where this situation happen...But it's not acceptable... I think bhukk lagi hogi swiggy wale ko bhi..."
