No matter how much you travel the world, our desi dishes and the traditional Indian way of eating will always be close to our hearts. Well, seems like Parineeti Chopra also resonates with us on this one. She is a bonafide foodie and there's no way we can doubt her. What's even more interesting is that she is quite vocal about her indulgences and food choices. Parineeti just left us drooling with her super delicious Indian meal spread. Seems like it was a day off for her and she decided to gorge on yummy dishes. The actress has shared a series of pictures on her Instagram Stories giving us a glimpse of her spread.

The very first slide states, “Day off done right,” followed by the main food posts. She gave us a view of her dining table with certain delicacies arranged on it mainly in copper utensils. Around the food, we could see some banana leaves kept in front of every seat. It indicated that Parineeti devoured the meal in a traditional way.
Talking about the food, there were two bowls filled with gravy-laden dishes topped with chopped green coriander. Beside it, there was another bowl of what looked like nice, crispy fried chopped onions that are usually used to garnish a dish. For salad? There were sliced onions, lemon and green chillies.
Parineeti Chopra didn't stop here. She completed her meal with some amazing desserts. The actress devoured juicy and yummy bright yellow mangoes that were sliced and kept on a plate. Besides that, we spot a bowl of heavenly white rangullas. She wrote, “It went quick.” Indeed, the actress must have had a great time with this treat.
This is not the first time we saw Parineeti Chopra obsessing over Indian food. When she went to Puri in Odisha, the actress treated herself to Pakhala Bhaat. Just in case, if you didn't know, it's a popular dish from the state that's prepared by fermenting rice. On Parineeti's meal platter, we could also spot several curries and chopped cucumber and onions along with the main dish. She stated, “What a lovely evening meeting the people of Odisha (and hogging on the local food as always).”
Once, Parineeti Chopra relished a beautiful pink, thick and creamy smoothie served in a wine glass. She wrote, “Normalise having your smoothie in a wine glass.” She also enjoyed tasty stuffed gobi paratha, Indian curries and a cup of chai alongside. Her caption read, “Punjabi science says gobi paratha and chai reduce TV debut stress.”
