Following that, Upasana shared a video capturing the preparation of thatte idlis. The footage captures the idlis being generously topped with desi ghee before being placed inside the steamer. For context, thatte idlis are the same as regular idlis but stand out due to their larger size.
Next, Upasana shared another clip featuring the making of mulbagal dosa on griddles. Unlike regular dosa, mulbagal dosa is distinguished by its unique texture and flavour, often characterised by a crispier and thinner make.
And when it's a South Indian celebration, one type of dosa is never enough. Upasana posted a video that shows the making of neer dosa. In the video, the chef uses a ladle to spread a very thin batter in a pan. Then, he covers it with a lid for proper cooking.
To celebrate Pongal/ Sankranti, Ram Charan and Upasana ate pongal, as per tradition. How do we know? Well, we made sure not to miss Upasana's uploads. In a clip, we saw the South Indian delicacy being made with rice and milk.
