Indian food has become a popular pick for people all across the world. No matter which country you go to, you will always end up finding an Indian restaurant that is serving delicious food. It comes as no surprise that when foreigners and expats visit India, they want to try their hands at all things authentically Indian. US Ambassador Eric Garcetti is no exception to this! The diplomat has been travelling across different Indian cities and made it a point to try out all the yummy dishes that each city has to offer. This time, he sampled some scrumptious Hyderabadi food. Take a look:

In the clip, we can see Ambassador Eric Garcetti trying kache gosht ki biryani and khubani ka meetha at Dum Pukht restaurant. Both the dishes looked absolutely delicious and the diplomat seemed to agree. "I can't travel to a new place without trying some of the local fare! Big thanks to Chef Shivneet Pohoja from the ITC Kohenur's Dum Pukht restaurant for a delicious sampling of dakhni chowgra, Hyderabadi gosht biryani, and khubani ka meetha. Yum," he wrote in his tweet. The video was shared by the US Consulate General in Hyderabad and it received over 79k views. "We are delighted that you loved the Hyderabadi cuisine! We look forward to introducing an even wider range of flavours from Telangana, Andhra and Odisha in your future visits," they said.
US Ambassador Eric Garcetti has been in Hyderabad for a couple of days now. Previously, he had also posted a video of himself trying out some more delicious treats in Hyderabad with his Embassy colleagues. "India, you already have my heart! With a curious palate and love for good food, I'm here with Embassy colleagues, eager to experience the fascinating culinary culture of Hyderabad. Which state cuisine should I try next? Let me know," he said in the tweet.
