Packaged treats were nothing short of a delight for all the 90s kids. From toffees to chocolates, from lollipops to chips, and more, we all had our favourites! However, one thing that almost everyone relished was Parle-G biscuits. Even now, the brand has maintained the same taste and iconic packaging featuring the picture of a kid. But can you ever imagine a packet of Parle-G with someone else's picture? Believe it or not, this has happened. The official Instagram handle of Parle-G shared a post in which they replaced the kid's picture with the photo of Instagram influencer Zervaan J Bunshah. Sounds interesting, right?

Before showing you the post, let us walk you through the entire story. It all began with a cryptic post when Zervaan J Bunshah shared a video. In the clip, he is sitting inside the car with the song My Name Is Lakhan playing in the background. The text on the top of his video reads, “If you meet the owner of Parle, do you call him Parle sir, Mr. Parle, or Parle G?”
As soon as the official handle of Parle-G noticed this video, they could not help but react by saying, “Bunshah ji, you can call us the OG, “ with the I Love You hand sign emoji.

Next, Parle-G uploaded a special picture to give a shout-out to the influencer. They put an animated picture of the biscuit packaging. Not only did they replace the kid's photo with Zervaan's picture, but they also changed the name of the biscuit to “Bunshah-G.” In the caption of their post, Parle-G wrote, “While you figure out what to call the owner of Parle-G, you can call us your favourite biscuit to enjoy with a cup of chai. What say Zervaan J Bunshah ji?” with a heart-eyed face emoji.
While reacting to Parle-G's post, Zervaan wrote “BAHAHAHAHAHA SEASONS GREETINGS INDEED. Parle G will always be my nourishment growing up, after any excursion, party, gathering, craving, fancy cake mein bhi ingredient rehta hai (it is used as an ingredient in fancy cakes too) ! I toh ate the biscuits as a kid thinking I'd become smarter. Usme toh kalti diya tum logon ne (you lack there!).”
