Desi style French toast with green chillies and coriander.

Ingredients of Baida Paav

  • 2 eggs- slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chillies- finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp coriander leaves- finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp powdered black pepper
  • 4 bread slices- crusts removed
  • 4 tsp butter
  • Slit green chillies or chopped coriander to garnish

How to Make Baida Paav

  • 1.Mix the eggs, milk, salt, green chillies, coriander and black pepper well together.
  • 2.Dip the bread slices into this mixture, turning to soak well.
  • 3.Heat a teaspoonful of butter in a non-stick pan.
  • 4.When the butter melts, lower the heat and place one slice over it, and turn at once. Let cook on both sides, till light brown and cooked through.
  • 5.Repeat with the rest of the slices.
  • 6.Serve hot accompanied with tomato sauce.
  • 7.NOTE:You can make this without spices and have it with honey too.
