Ingredients of Catfish And Raw Mango Salad

  • For the catfish:
  • 3-4 catfish fillets, diced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Oil, for deep frying
  • For the Salad:
  • 2 green mangoes, grated
  • 10-15 cashew nuts, roasted and crushed coarsely
  • Chilli powder, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • Sugar, a pinch
  • 3-4 shallots, chopped
  • 2 tsp fish sauce

How to Make Catfish And Raw Mango Salad

Apply some slat and pepper to the fish fillets and cut them into cubes. Deep fry till golden-brown.
In a bowl mix grated raw green mangoes, chilli powder, lemon juice, sugar, shallots and fish sauce. Toss well.
Add the deep fried fish and cashews. Toss and serve.
