Goan crab cutlets with potatoes, chillies and lime. Coated in an egg batter and rolled in bread crumbs. Deep fried till golden.

Ingredients of Cullieo Cutlets

  • 1 kg crabs
  • 500 gm potatoes
  • 5 gm turmeric powder
  • 20 gm chilli powder
  • 10 gm green chillies
  • 5 gm pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 10 ml lime juice
  • Coating:
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gm bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Cullieo Cutlets

Chop the green chillies.
2.
Boil the crabs and remove the flesh.
3.
Boil the potatoes and mash them along with the crab meat and the rest of the ingredients.
4.
Beat the eggs. Make oval rolls of desired size.
5.
Coat the rolls with egg and breadcrumbs.
6.
Deep fry till golden brown in color.
