About Kurkuri Dahi Recipe: A spicy, tangy and absolutely delicious kebab recipe made with hung curd, cottage cheese (paneer) and a whole lot of spices. An easy and quick dish to prepare for a dinner party, made with simple ingredients. You can also cook this dish during the rainy season and pair with a mint chutney.
Ingredients of Kurkuri dahi
250 gms curd
50 gms paneer
2 gms coriander seed
15 gms fresh coriander
30 gms milk powder
2 gms green chilli, chopped
to taste salt
2 gms chilli flakes
30 gms corn flour
16 gms bread crumbs
As needed oil for frying
How to Make Kurkuri dahi
1.Place a clean muslin cloth over a sieve.
2.Pour the curd and bring together the edges of the cloth. Then wring the cloth to drain up excess whey from curd.
3.Place a heavy object like 2 to 3 ceramic bowl over the curd pack. Hung curd is ready.
4.Crumble paneer and add it to a mixing bowl along with hung curd.
5.Add all the other ingredients and mix well just to make a non sticky dough.
6.Divide the dough to equal sized ball,flatten them. then roll in flour, shake them off gently to remove excess flour.
7.Set aside for 5 to 7 minutes.
8.Fry all the kababs in a oil until golden and crisp.
