Ingredients of Lachha Rabdi

  • 2 lts Full cream milk
  • 400 gms Khoya
  • 400 gms Sugar
  • 100 gms Ghee
  • 5 gms Elaichi powder
  • 10 ml Rose essence
  • 15 gms Sliced pista

How to Make Lachha Rabdi

Pour the milk in a thick bottomed pan, boil the milk and reduce it to ½ the volume.

Add grated khoya (hariyali mava) into the hot milk and continue cooking.
3.
Add ghee and sugar and continue cooking for a while for around 10 minutes on a slow flame.
4.
When it starts to thicken, remove from fire and add elachi powder and rose essence (gulab jal).
5.
Chill in a refrigerator and serve with garnishing of sliced pista.
