A delicious trinity of brinjals, prawns and coconut milk in one spectacular dish.

Ingredients of Prawn Temperado

  • 750 Gram Prawns (de-veined), peeled
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • To taste Salt
  • 2 Cups Coconut Milk
  • 1 Cup Brinjal (diced)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Oil
  • 2 Cups Onions (diced)
  • 6 Green Chillies, chopped
  • 1 Ginger , chopped
  • 6 Nos Garlic, chopped
  • For Paste:
  • 2 Tbsp Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 6 Nos Garlic
  • 3-4 Green Chillies
  • 1 Tbsp Coriander Seeds

How to Make Prawn Temperado

  • 1.Heat the oil, add the sliced onion and saute.
  • 2.Add the chopped green chillies, ginger and garlic and stir fry till glossy.
  • 3.Add the prawns over high heat and saute till they change colour, lower the flame and add the ground masala.
  • 4.Fry on a high heat till the masala is completely cooked.
  • 5.Add the brinjals and coconut milk and bring to a boil.
  • 6.Add salt to taste and the garam masala.
  • 7.Simmer till the brinjal is completely cooked. Serve hot.
