Ingredients of Red Velvet Shahi Tukda
- 2 Pieces Red Velvet Slices
- 1/2 ml Water
- 2 Crushed black cardamo
- 3 cups Milk
- 5 gram Pistachios
- 1/2 cup Clarify Butter
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 4 Strands Saffron
- A pinch of green cardamom powder
How to Make Red Velvet Shahi Tukda

Take a saucepan and heat water along with sugar.

Once the sugar dissolves add the saffron and let it boil till the syrup achieves two string consistency.

Once the sugar syrup turns a little thick, turn off the flame.
Preparing the Rabri
1.
Take another saucepan, heat milk and sugar on a medium flame and boil until the milk is reduced to about 1/4th of its original quantity

Then add ½ tsp lemon juice for layers of Rabri. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Continue to heat it by stirring the mixture continuously for 5 minutes. Once done, remove it off the flame.
Final Preparation - Shallow fry the red velvet slices
1.
Take the red velvet slices and cut with a heart shape cutter.
2.
Heat ghee in a pan and shallow fry the slices until they are crisp on each side.
3.
Arrange it the slices on a serving dish and pour the rabri over the red velvet slices and garnish with the chopped nuts and mint leaves.
