A popular vegetarian North Indian snack, Seekh Kebabs are deep fried kebabs made with hung curd and filled with tangy spices. This recipe of Tricolor Seekh Kebab here is specially curated by Chef Bikram of Desi Vibes, Connaught Place Delhi as a Republic day special dish. A true celebration of a foodie's spirit, this will surely satiate all your snack cravings.

Ingredients of Tricolor Seekh Kebab

  • 1/2 Kg Yogurt
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 4 Green chillies, chopped
  • To taste Salt
  • 75 Gram Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Coriander seeds and Black pepper powder
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger, chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 Cup Besan, roasted
  • 100 Gram Paneer
  • 2 Tbsp Corn flour
  • For frying Oil

How to Make Tricolor Seekh Kebab

  • 1.Lay a muslin cloth over a bowl and pour the yogurt into it. Pick up the edges of the cloth and tie a knot. Hang it till it turns into a cheesy mixture.
  • Prepare the Filling:
  • 1.Grate the cheese. Dry roast coriander seeds & black pepper. Grind into a powder.
  • 2.Mix grated cheese, a little coriander pepper powder, green chillies, onions, ginger and salt.
  • 3.Take hung yoghurt in a bowl, add red chilli flakes and the rest of the coriander pepper powder.
  • 4.Bind with besan, paneer and corn flour.
  • 5.Put in the filling and shape into kebabs. Shallow fry on a pan and serve hot.
