Food safety inspections conducted by the Telangana Food Safety Department at a bakery and a brewery in Hyderabad uncovered serious hygiene and food safety violations.

Officials destroyed approximately 1,000 kg of raw onions and 70 kg of fried onions. Around 480 kg of cooking oil was seized after samples were collected for analysis.

The seized stock, valued at approximately Rs 2.25 lakh, was subsequently destroyed.
