  • Winner of the weekly Guilt Free Contest whips up an innovative kebab recipe. Kebabs made with puffed rice and curd, stuffed with masala tossed peas.


  • For the kebab:

    4 cups kheele (puffed rice)
  • 1 1/2 cup curd
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chillies
  • 3 Tbsp finely chopped hara dhaniya
  • Oil, to shallow fry kebabs

  • For the stuffing:
  • 1 cup green peas, boiled
  • Salt, to taste
  • Finely chopped green chillies, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp amchoor powder
  • 1 tsp zeera
  • 1 tsp oil


  1. For the kebab:
  2. Soak kheele in curd for 30 minutes.
  3. Add salt, chopped green chillies and hara dhaiya. Mix well. It should form a very think batter. Else add more kheele to it.

  4. For the stuffing:
  5. Take a kadhai. Add 1 tsp oil, add jeera.
  6. Add boiled peas, salt , green chilies, amchoor. Mix well and crush it.
  7. Now take a handful portion of batter, make a depression in the center , fill 1 tsp of peas mixture, roll it and shape into kebabs.
  8. Make rest of the kebabs like this. Heat a non stick pan and shallow fry these kebabs.
  9. Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
