to the writer and the various typical comments below.
Absolute ignorance of writer of the article, firstly there is no such cuisine as SOUTH_INDIAN cuisine. the four states have their completely different cuisines and in every state there is are predominantly 5-6 cuisines, completely different from each other. So in total you may have around 25-30 major cuisines, very different from each other and further difference in cuisines, based on local produce and weather.
The writer by clubbing all under one name has shown his or her complete lack of awareness and understanding of the word ' cuisince'
& it is time, we stopped using the work southindian thali since there is no southindian thali,,,,,,,,,,,,,, there are 30 different thalis all different from each other. Just because all the food is served on BANANA leaf does not make it same. PLs grow up from your typical mentalities and stop STEREOTYPING the southern part of india with your pre-conceived notions and prejudices.
START by understanding the various cuisines in every area and then you would be able to call yourself a food critic or a food writer.
It is quite sickening to see such articles which cannot distinguish cuisines authenticities..
