Every summer, mangoes are what make the hot season bearable and as a kitchen ingredient, they are as versatile as they come. But there are some myths, too, because of which many people refrain from savouring the delicious fruit. However, eating mangoes moderately has several benefits: it strengthens bones and joints and improves eyesight and does not lead to weight gain. Also, they can be eaten in multiple ways. Celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala has now shared a recipe of a healthy dessert made up of the king of fruits – the Mango Parfait.
In a new video on Instagram, Yasmin explained how to prepare the dessert.
“Here's a quick, healthy and easy recipe, THE MANGO PARFAIT!” she wrote in the caption.
The video showed some granola put in a glass, then diced mango was added, then some coconut yogurt and some soaked chia seeds. Repeat the layer again for a second coating and top it up with honey. “And you're all set to take over the summer heat with our mango parfait,” she added. Simple and easy. Take a look:
