Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her mother Brinda Rai's birthday on Thursday, May 23. The actress has now given a sneak peek into her mother's intimate birthday celebration, also attended by her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Aishwarya dropped a series of pictures that honestly left us drooling thanks to all the decadent sweet treats. It turns out Aishwarya celebrated her mother's birthday with not just one but four unique cakes. In the opening frame, we can see Aishwarya posing with Brinda Rai and Aaradhya, with two cakes in front of them. The next slide shows the trio posing with some of the family members. We can also see four cakes and seven cupcakes kept in front of them.
The picture shows two red velvet cakes, one with vanilla icing and the other with chocolate toppings. We also spotted an almond cake and a chocolate pull-me-up cake. The picture also shows a vanilla cupcake with lavender-hued icing and a few chocolate muffins with chopped walnuts. Sharing the pictures, Aishwarya wrote, “Love you Birthday girl, dearest Mommy-Doddaaa,” with lots of red heart emoticons.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also shared a still of her mom posing with all the sweet treats. Sharing the pictures, Aishwarya wrote, “Happy Birthday Dearest Darling Mommyyy-Doddaaa…Love You Eternally.”

Last year, on the occasion of her 50th birthday, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan cut her birthday cake in front of the media at an event. The video, which went viral, shows the actress standing next to her mother Brinda and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, as the paparazzi sang the happy birthday song for her. Going by the video it seems, the actress cut a chocolate cake topped with Ferrero Rocher. Aishwarya was visibly elated by the media's gestures. After cutting the cake, the actress said, "Thank You. You have sung for me. Thank you so much," and blew kisses towards them. The video also shows Aishwarya feeding a piece of cake to her mother and daughter. In the clip, Aaradhya can be seen giving her mother a tight hug after the cake-cutting ceremony. When asked to have a piece, the actress can be heard saying, "I am fasting for Karwa Chauth. Can't eat now."
