The incredible trend of baking hyper-realistic cakes has taken over the Internet. This trend has definitely inspired people to create edible hyper-realistic structures. Why, you ask? Well, now the internet has brought forth a video of an Instagram user who built a mini 3D Colosseum using chocolate cuboids. ChiPa, a carpenter by profession, created the Italian structure with extreme precision. The clip begins with him breaking cuboids of chocolate bars from the Japanese brand Meiji. After breaking the cuboids, he puts them all in a squeeze bottle to melt. Then he opens another packet of this sweet treat, which already comes in cuboid-style servings, and begins sticking them together. ChiPa arranges them in a circular shape by placing them next to each other and atop each other.
Those chocolate cuboids stacked on top of each other make the structure appear truly as if it's made of bricks. In addition to this, he also ensured to include precise ruined detailing reminiscent of Italy's Colosseum in his creation. While it's unknown how many packets of chocolate it took ChiPa to construct the model, at one point in the video, a carton box full of cuboids is visible. For the inner part of the model, he used entire bars to form the base. Next, he utilised cube-shaped chocolates to create the floor of the Colosseum, employing the same technique of adhesion. Once fully assembled, it looks phenomenal. It wouldn't be inaccurate to say that finding a chocolate model so closely resembling the original structure is quite rare. Sharing the video, ChiPa wrote, “I made a Colosseum with chocolate (In the end, everyone enjoyed it deliciously).” Take a look:

Needless to say, the internet was impressed with the chocolate model. While many praised ChiPa for his skills, a few wondered why he felt the need to build it. One comment read, “Beautiful… But why?” Another remarked, “The sweetest building I've ever seen.” Some inquired about the amount of chocolate he used, with one user stating, “I wonder how much that was!” Another jokingly remarked, “Rome didn't fall, it slowly melted.” “What is this? A Colosseum for ants?” quipped another. A user pondered, "What did you do with all that chocolate after you completed the sculpture?"
