Have you ever checked menu card in a flight? If yes, then you surely know that food sold up in the air is costlier than usual. One such experience recently triggered the desi Twitter users, who recounted their food stories (in flight) in a recent Twitter thread. It all started when a Twitter user named Pulkit Kochar took to his handle to share a snap of an in-flight menu card. It pegged the cost of a humble "vada pao" at Rs. 250 (three dollars). Let's agree, the price is way more than the price at which this Mumbai street food is sold on ground. "Mujhe kabhi ye flight mein khaate dekhlo to plane se hi neeche fek dena (If you ever see me eating this in a flight, then throw me from the plane)," he wrote alongside. Read the tweet here:

In no time, the tweet garnered attention and people started commenting on the post with their own in-flight food experiences.
A person shared how he bought a bowl of poha in flight for Rs. 200. "Almost 5 years ago I bought poha in flight for Rs. 200 just because I couldn't say no to the staff..." he wrote.
Another comment read, "3 years ago I had chicken noodles in flight, bhai 300 ke the voh, usska aaj tak regret hai."
"Bruh I had a chicken roll at the airport once for 260 bucks. Decided to boycott airport or airlines food since that day." A third comment read.
