Ingredients of Chowgra
- Assorted vegetables (Carrots, beans, peas, cauliflower, brinjal)
- 3 finely sliced onions
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup whisked yogurt
- 2 green cardamoms
- 4 cloves
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp caraway seeds juice
- 1 lemon
- Salt, to taste

Fry the vegetables, one variety at a time in hot oil. Set aside and leave 2/3 cup of oil in the pan.
Fry the onions till golden in color before adding ginger and garlic.
Cook for a minute and add salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Sprinkle some water and simmer.
Add the fried vegetables and then the yogurt. Cook at medium heat.
Add the ground spices and lemon juice.
