Coconut chutney is the most common chutney found in the South Indian cuisine. It goes particularly with Idli, Dosa and Vada. There are many variations of coconut chutney made from Urad Dal or Moong Dal.

Ingredients of Coconut Chutney

  • 1 Cup Coconut
  • 1 Green Chillies, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Tamarind Pulp
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil

How to Make Coconut Chutney

  • 1.Take grated coconut, green chillies, ginger, salt, tamarind pulp and grind them together to form a paste.Coconut Chutney
