Rice cooked with the flavors of coconut milk, cinnamon, cashew nuts and chillies.

Ingredients of Coconut Milk Pulao

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 1 onion
  • 4 chillies
  • 1 tomato
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Coconut Milk Pulao

  • 1.Put oil/ghee in a pressure cooker.
  • 2.Add cloves, cinnamon, cashew nuts, sliced onions, chopped chillies and fry till onion becomes transparent.
  • 3.Then add tomatoes and fry for 2 minutes.
  • 4.Now add the rice and mix all well.
  • 5.Then add the coconut milk, water and salt.
  • 6.When the water comes to boil close the pressure cooker and cook for 15 minutes on a low flame.
  • 7.Once done, serve the rice hot.
