Ingredients of Hummus
- 1 cup chick peas (white chana)
- 6-7 cloves garlic
- 6-7 tsp lemon juice
- 3-4 tsp sesame seeds - roasted
- 5-6 tsp olive oil
- Salt - to taste
- Ground pepper - a pinch
- Paprika - a pinch

Soak the chick peas overnight and boil with little salt.
Drain and keep some liquid for blending.
Add all the ingredients in a mixie except the paprika and blend to form a smooth paste, adding olive oil gradually.
Garnish with some more olive oil and paprika.
Serve with pita bread and sauteed vegetables.
