Ingredients of Quick Chicken Curry Recipe: With a mix of ginger garlic along with flavourful spices such as zeera, turmeric and red chilli powder cooked with tomatoes and simmered with chicken pieces, this chicken recipe is surprisingly quick to cook and will make you a super hit host.

Ingredients of Quick Chicken Curry

  • 1 Kg chicken
  • 3 large onions (paste)
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 2 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 2 tsp zeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  • 1/2 tsp lal mirch powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • to taste salt
  • For garnishing dhaniya leaves, chopped

How to Make Quick Chicken Curry

  • 1.Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion paste, garlic and ginger paste till golden brown.
  • 2.Add tomato puree. When the tomato puree dries up, add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Let the spices cook.
  • 3.Add chicken pieces into the masala. Stir well and cook till they are golden brown.
  • 4.Add 1/2 cup of water and stir. Cover with a lid and let it simmer till the chicken is cooked.
  • 5.Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
