Ingredients of Sabut Matar ki Sabzi
- 500 gm fresh green peas (matar)
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1/8 tsp asafoetida
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2-3 whole red chillies
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp mango powder
- 2 Tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Wash the matar and leave to drain the excess water.
Heat oil in a kadahi and add the asafoetida, cumin seeds and whole red chillies.
When the seeds begin to splutter, add the matar and salt.
Mix the matar and the masalas well, cover and simmer till the matar is cooked through.This should take around 10-20 minutes depending upon how fresh the matar is.
Add the chaat masala and mango powder.
Stir to mix and serve the sabut matar ki sabzi, garnished with the chopped coriander leaves.
