Here Are 5 Tips To Make Your Parathas Softer And Fluffier:
1.Knead The Dough Well
The first and most important step in making a soft and fluffy paratha is to knead the dough well. Make sure to sieve the flour before using it and add lukewarm water while kneading the dough. Do not add all the water in one go as this would make things messy. If you go wrong here - there's no turning back.
2.Cover The Dough
Once the dough is ready, apply some oil and cover it with a muslin cloth for at least 15-20 minutes. This will allow the dough to rise swiftly and help in retaining its moisture. Without covering the dough, the surface is likely to dry out and would not give you the desired results.

3.Add Ghee
Ghee is one such ingredient that can never do any harm to a dish. Don't you agree? Adding a dollop of ghee to your paratha not only makes it flavourful but also gives it the much-required richness, which is difficult to achieve if you use oil or butter. Trust us, you would not regret adding ghee to your paratha!
4.Cook Them On The Right Flame
If you cook your paratha on low flame, it'll make them chewy, and if you cook it on high flame, it's going to become hard like a papad. The correct way is to heat the tawa on high flame, add ghee and spread it evenly. Once hot, place the paratha and allow it to cook evenly from each side, flipping it alternatively until done.
5.Add Yogurt
Another way to make a perfectly soft and fluffy paratha is by adding yogurt while kneading the dough. Make sure to use fresh yogurt, as using old yogurt could change the taste of the paratha and give it a sour taste. Adding yogurt to the dough will ensure that the paratha remains soft even after cooling down.
