Karisma Kapoor's Rajasthani Feast Is Sure To Make You Drool

Karisma Kapoor: Rajasthan is a land of royal and rich culture that boasts of unmatched arts, traditions and lip-smacking local delicacies. The food of the royal state is either full of spice or is sinfully sweet, nothing in between. From mouth-watering dal baati to fiery laal maas, Rajasthani food is all this and more and we are pretty sure you won't be able to resist trying the appetising dishes once you are here. Just like our Bollywood beauty Karisma Kapoor couldn't while she was in Jaipur yesterday.

Karisma Kapoor was in Jaipur on Monday and simply couldn't afford to not revel in the culinary indulgence that the 'Pink City' Jaipur has to offer. She posted an Instagram story with a sad face saying, "I'm hungry" as the lunch table is being set. The next story has an excited Karisma ready to devour the drool-worthy Rajasthani platter in front of her.

The platter had the Rajasthani staple dal baati churma along with missi roti, mutton chops and tandoori roti with a salad of cucumber and tomatoes. Lolo captioned the image '#MondayMotivation Feast your heart out'.

We don't know about you, but we are definitely craving some dal baati churma now. Dal baati churma is one of the star dishes of Rajasthani cuisine and an absolute must on a trip to Rajasthan, besides, of course, laal maas, gatte ki sabzi and other sumptuous Rajasthani delights. It isn't the first time the regional cuisine has left a celebrity smitten, earlier in 2017, even the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, couldn't hold himself back from relishing a traditional Rajasthani thali in Jaipur while on a promotional tour.
