Doesn't that look simply scrumptious? If you're sceptical of consuming poha without cooking then we must mention here that since poha is prepared by parboiling rice, before flattening it with steel rollers. This is why poha requires little to no cooking before it's ready to be consumed. A lot of people prefer to eat poha soaked in milk or water by seasoning it with salt and pepper or sugar, as it easily absorbs the liquids and is light on the stomach. This version of soaked poha is fortified with healthy fats from the coconut and ghee, healthy carbs from the poha and a host of essential minerals and vitamins from the nuts.
