To start with this delicious Rajasthani recipe, all you need to do is mix maize flour, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and oil in a large container. Mix it thoroughly by using your hands. Now add a pinch of baking soda, fenugreek leaves to the flour mixture. Add water as required to make a soft dough. Take a small portion out of the dough and make a circular disc and pierce it in between to create a small indent by using your finger. The final step is to place the dhoklas in the steamer for about 10-15 minutes. Pour a dollop of desi ghee on the top of the dhoklas, once they are done. Serve it with moong dal along with tangy mint chutney.
