Mango season is upon us again. The fragrance of the fruit wafting through the air in supermarkets is a sign that summer is here. Rightly known as the ‘king of fruits', mangoes are tasty and also a storehouse of nutrients. In between stuffing ourselves with the sweet and juicy fruit, we also start thinking about the dishes we can rustle up using mangoes in the kitchen. Nutritionist Nmami Agarwal shared her version of a delectable mango chutney on her Instagram Stories, and it looks absolutely lip-smacking.

On Tuesday, she took to Instagram to share her version of the recipe and wrote alongside, "Summer calls for trying different mango recipes. This one is quick, easy, nutritious and yummy.” In the video post, we can see the included ingredients like green chilli, red chilli, methi or fenugreek seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric and grated raw mangoes in the recipe. With the help of a tiny amount of mustard oil, the chutney was ready in a matter of minutes. In the frame, we can spot delicious-looking yellow chutney with a smooth texture. Take a look:

She seems to have made tangy dish using fresh mangoes from her kitchen garden. Nmami shared a picture of a bunch of mangoes and captioned it, “Mangoes, straight from the tree.” She added the benefits of having your own kitchen garden. Nmami says it helps us improve health, save money on groceries, reduces stress, helps with outdoor exercises and allows us to have a regular supply of fresh and healthy fruits and vegetables.

Mango chutney can be savoured with paratha, rice or rotis. There are multiple other ways of making mango chutney- you can give it a tangy twist or simply make it sweet and spicy.
