Delhi is now brewing a beer revolution. The capital is witnessing a spurt in the growth of new breweries that are offering all kinds of food and drinks to people in the capital city. Effingut is the latest addition to Delhi-NCR's nightlife and restaurant scene. A well-known and much-loved craft beer powerhouse, Effingut has opened its fourth outlet in Delhi after successful establishments in Pune, Kolkata and Mumbai; and they are looking to revolutionise the beer culture in the city complemented, of course, with some scrumptious food.
Effingut has opened its doors in an expansive two-floor space at MGF Metropolitan, Saket, where they are serving 16 craft beers under one roof. Long bar counter, high ceilings, stunning wall designs and an industrial vibe characterise the decor and ambience at Effingut. We visited for dinner and were comfortably seated in a booth - ideal for catching up with friends over conversations and drinks.

Effingut has curated a menu that is straightforward with to-the-point options. We always knew that beer would rule the show but we were also pleasantly surprised with the delicious food offerings. Moreover, the brewery has a tasting platter for beer wherein they give you could try all their 16 beers.
We started off the meal with Loaded House Fries (Chicken), Tandoori Broccoli, Thecha Chicken Tikka and Peshawari Mutton Seekh - among which we liked the tandoori broccoli and Peshawari mutton seekh. Loaded house fries go well with your beer but can be filling and trying other appetisers will be a question to ponder. Next up, Yasai Tempura was an enjoyable appetiser - the size of this Uramaki sushi roll was quite impressive too. We also tried their dimsums - mushroom medley and chicken spinach. While the chicken spinach mushroom was packed with interesting earthy flavours, the mushroom medley didn't go well with our palate. Coming to drinks, we were spoilt for choice with over 16 tap beers from Effingut's signature list, including Peach Ginger Mead, Japanese Rice Lager, Very Berry Cider, Neipa and more.
