It is said that Gulab Jamun was invented  by one of the khansaamas of Shah Jahan. Gulab Jamun is also a modified and evolved Turkish treat that was popular in central Asia in ancient times. Over the years, Gulab Jamun has become an unparalleled festive staple across the country, so much so that one can't imagine a sweetmeat shop that doesn't have Gulab jamun on offer, especially on special occasions. 1. Gulab Jamun Cheesecake
