Dough made from flour drenched with milk, cumin seeds and ghee, rolled out to make crisp rotis.

Ingredients of Khasta Roti

  • 2 Cups Atta (whole-wheat flour)
  • 2 tsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Jeera (cumin seeds)
  • To taste Salt
  • Ghee

How to Make Khasta Roti

  • 1.Mix baking powder, cumin seeds, salt and ghee with the flour thoroughly.
  • 2.Add milk and knead to a soft dough.
  • 3.Make balls of the dough and roll out like rotis and fry on a tawa, adding ghee, over a medium flame.
  • 4.Serve it with butter.
