About Kheelon Ke Kebab Recipe: Winner of the weekly Guilt Free Contest whips up an innovative kebab recipe. Kebabs made with puffed rice and curd, stuffed with masala tossed peas.

Ingredients of Kheelon Ke Kebab

  • For the kebab:
  • 4 cups kheele (puffed rice)
  • 1 1/2 cup curd
  • to taste salt
  • 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp hara dhaniya, finely chopped
  • Oil (to shallow fry kebabs)
  • For the stuffing:
  • 1 cup green peas, boiled
  • to taste salt
  • to taste green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp aamchoor powder
  • 1 tsp zeera
  • 1 tsp oil

How to Make Kheelon Ke Kebab

  • For the kebab:
  • 1.Soak kheele in curd for 30 minutes.
  • 2.Add salt, chopped green chillies and hara dhaiya. Mix well. It should form a very think batter. Else add more kheele to it.
  • For the stuffing:
  • 1.Take a kadhai. Add 1 tsp oil, add jeera.
  • 2.Add boiled peas, salt , green chilies, amchoor. Mix well and crush it.
  • 3.Now take a handful portion of batter, make a depression in the center , fill 1 tsp of peas mixture, roll it and shape into kebabs.
  • 4.Make rest of the kebabs like this. Heat a non stick pan and shallow fry these kebabs.
  • 5.Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
