Ingredients of Cabbage Meat Rolls

  • 10 Large Cabbage leaves
  • 1 Chicken/Mutton stock
  • 1 bunch Spring onion (green part)
  • 2 tbsp Spring onion (white part), chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 200 gram Lean minced lamb
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper

How to Make Cabbage Meat Rolls

  • 1.Blanch the cabbage leaves and spring onion stems in boiling stock for 10-15 seconds.
  • 2.Combine rest of the ingredients for the filling and season well.
  • 3.Place the filling on top of cabbage leaves and make a parcel.
  • 4.Secure the parcel with spring onion stocks.
  • 5.Add the cabbage parcels into the boiling stock and cook for 20 minutes.
  • 6.Garnish with chopped coriander and spring onions.
  • 7.Serve hot along with steamed rice.
