Dough balls are rolled out and stuffed with tomatoes and onions, fried crisp in desi ghee.

Ingredients of Tukkad Roti

  • 2 Tbsp corn flour
  • 2 Tbsp wheat flour
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 desi ghee
  • Salt

How to Make Tukkad Roti

1.Knead a dough using corn flour, wheat flour, ajwain & salt.
2.Make dough balls.
3.Roll dough balls gently into small sizes, sprinkle some chopped onion, tomatoes & green chillies.
4.Roll it again to embed it into the roti.
5.Fry it in desi ghee.
6.Serve
