Bangda fish cooked Goan style in a spicy peri peri masala.

Ingredients of Bangda Masala Fry

  • 4 bangda fish
  • 5 guntur chilies      
       
    1 Tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 Tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper corns
  • 1 Tbsp cumin seeds
  • 6-7 garlic cloves
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Stems of fresh coriander
  • 2 tsp coconut toddy vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp kashmiri chilly and garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

How to Make Bangda Masala Fry

  1. For the Perry Perry Masala:
  2. In a motor and pastel ass guntur chilly, fennel seeds, cloves, coriander seeds, pepper corns, cumin seeds, garlic, oil for lubrication, sea salt , stems for fresh coriander, coconut toddy vinegar,  pinch of sugar and grind it
  3. For adding color to masala add kashmiri chili and garlic paste
  4. Also add water if required
  5. Now add turmeric powder to the paste

  6. For the Bangda Fry:
  7. In a sauce pan put the Perry Perry masala paste after stirring it till its hot
  8. Now add a drizzle of oil on the bangda fish and also season it from inside with salt
  9. Marinate the fish by pouring the masala paste inside and outside the fish
  10. In a flat pan add little oil and heat the fish till it gets crisp
  11. Oil the fish in between if required
  12. Serve hot
