Dough balls are rolled out and stuffed with tomatoes and onions, fried crisp in desi ghee.

Ingredients of Tukkad Roti

  • 2 Tbsp corn flour
  • 2 Tbsp wheat flour
  • 1 tsp ajwain

    1 onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 desi ghee
  • Salt

How to Make Tukkad Roti

  1. Knead a dough using corn flour, wheat flour, ajwain & salt.
  2. Make dough balls.
  3. Roll dough balls gently into small sizes, sprinkle some chopped onion, tomatoes & green chillies.
  4. Roll it again to embed it into the roti.
  5. Fry it in desi ghee. 
  6. Serve
