Apple slices wrapped in batter are fried golden and then drizzled with a freshly made, vanilla flavored cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • For Apple Fritters:

    2 apples

    2 gm yeast

    150 gm flour

    150 gm corn flour

    5 gm sugar

    120 ml water

    Oil for frying


    For Vanilla Sauce:

    250 gm cream

    1 egg yolks

    50 gm sugar

    1 Tbsp vanilla essence

Method

For Apple Fritters:

Slice the apples, 1/2 inch thick.

Mix yeast in water, add 150gms flour, 150gms corn flour and sugar rest it for 10-15 min.

Heat the oil, dip apple slices in the batter and fry till golden brown.


For Vanilla Sauce:

Boil the cream add the 1 egg yolks, 50gms sugar and vanilla essence into it on slow fire cook the mix till it becomes a thick sauce, strain it and cool down immediately.

Key Ingredients: Apples, yeast, all purpose flour, cornflour, sugar, vegetable oil, cream, egg, vanilla essence
