Melt butter and chocolate together and set aside.
In a bowl whisk sugar and egg together till it gets to ribbon stage. Add the melted butter and chocolate mix in the bowl and fold in the cocoa powder and flour.
Set the mould in a water bath and pour in the mix.
Bake at 170 C for 30 to 35 minutes.
In another pan caramelize sugar and add little water to it. Add cherries and their juices and pour it over chocolate pudding and serve.
